    Cambridge Decagon Ebony Black Glass Sandwich Tray Plate. Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS Priority mail.
    Description: This ebony jet black glass center handle server CHS was made by the Cambridge Glass Company. The serving plate is the Number 870 in the Decagon Pattern.
    Size: It is about 10.5 inches in diameter and about 6.5 inches high.
    Condition: great vintage condition with no chips or cracks.
    Year: about 1935
    Type: Vintage Elegant or Depression Glass
    Vintage Glass: May have mold roughness along seam or edges. Vintage glass may have manufacturer imperfections such as "straw marks". Hand formed glass may be uneven. Vintage used glass may have usage or storage marks.
    Notes: Center handle servers were very popular 1925-1955. They were used to serve tea sandwiches, canapes, cookies, cakes, pastries and Petit Fours. Ladies were entertaining for card parties, sewing circles, church circles, quilting bees and luncheons.
