The watch is not tested and I have not checked the battery but would assume that it needs a new one.
We make no warranty on the mechanical condition due to age but I just sold a watch from the USSR that was ten years older than this one and it worked perfect.
There is some rust on the metal holes on the band (see photos)
These don't come along that often in this or any condition (complete with box)
